Simulation of the ERC - Evaluation Process

Volunteer as a GENERALIST!

the issue

70% of the submitted ERC-applications are rejected in Step 1.

In Step 1 only the document B1 (5 pages of extended synopsis + CV +  track record) is assessed by GENERALISTS (not experts on the submitted research topic)

our new approach

We want to simulate Step 1 of the ERC-evaluation process by giving the document B1 to researches of our faculty who act as GENERALISTS.

As in the real ERC Evaluation procedure you do not need to be an expert on the topic of the proposed project in order to act as a "Generalist". If you volunteer projektSERVICE will contact you with document B1 (5 pages of Part 1) and will ask you to provide feedback to the applicant.

This simulation should help our applicants to improve their documents before submitting.
