In the funding call Understanding Science, the Vienna Business Agency funds projects that use a wide variety of means and measures to make results and information from science and technology more transparent for the Viennese population.
Area of Funding
Funding is provided for projects in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields that contribute to
- an increase in interest in science and research,
- an increase in technology awareness,
- highlighting professional role models and the work of scientists,
- reaching the general population of Vienna, i.e. in particular people from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
Funding duration and amount
- The maximum duration is 2 years.
- Minimum project value is € 10.000,- and maximum funding amount is € 60.000,-.
- Funding rate: max. 75%
Women's bonus
- 5,000 euros. The women's bonus is awarded if your development proposal is managed by a woman with the necessary qualifications.
