In the new Healthcare Funding call, the Vienna Business Agency is funding cooperative, application-oriented R&D projects in the fields of human health, prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment/therapy, care, quality of life, rehabilitation and aftercare, which could lead to new diagnostic and treatment methods and/or new healthcare solutions and thereby strengthen the Viennese healthcare system.
Eligibility
- Existing small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), large corporations as well as companies in the process of being founded.
- Funding is also provided to project partners, which include universities, universities of applied sciences, associations, and non-university research institutions, or institutions and organisations in the educational and social fields.
Funding amount and duration
- Projects are funded with up to € 600,000.-
- for a maximum of 5 years
- Minimum project value: € 50,000.-
- Funding rate: 25-80%
Bonus:
- Women's bonus: € 10,000.-
- Startup bonus: € 5,000.-
The women's bonus is awarded if your development proposal is managed by a woman with the necessary qualifications. If a new company is founded as part of the development proposal, they will also pay a startup bonus.
