For 2026, the call is scheduled to open on 10 December 2025. The deadline is scheduled for 16 April 2026. 8 topics are planned:
- virtual human twin models
- microbiome for early cancer prediction
- socio-economic burden for health systems
- clinical trials for immunotherapeutic interventions
- earlier palliative care
- quality of life for young cancer survivors by cancer charities
- mental health of young cancer survivors
- capacity building for Ukraine
For 2027, 5 topics are currently planned with deadlines in September 2027:
- functional genomics for novel targets for cancer treatment
- clinical research by comprehensive cancer infrastructures
- clinical trials to test biomarker-guided medicines for rare cancers
- improve quality of life of elderly cancer patients
- affordable solutions for healthcare systems
