The 6th KoEF Call for funding is open from 1 September 2025 until 30 November 2025, 13:00 pm CET. 

Due to the regulations set by the Special Guideline on the “Maßnahmen zur Internationalisierung/Measures for Internationalisation” (GZ: BMBWF-2024-0.205.097) of the Federal Ministry of Women, Science and Research (BMFWF), which was published in 2024, only Austrian Higher Education Institutions or Austrian Research Institutions are able to submit and coordinate a project. However, as in previous years, project consortia must consist of at least one Austrian public university or research performing institution and at least one partner institution in the Global South. Therefore partner institutions in the Global South are eligible as project partners.

Applications can only be submitted via the StipOnline portal. The basic data for the project must be entered in this portal and the completed application documents uploaded.
