What is funded?
Funding is provided for projects that are predominantly related to basic research and already have a realistic potential for commercialisation, so that one or more companies are willing to co-finance the project or participate in the project.
In BRIDGE 1, it is possible to integrate young researchers into projects.
Who is eligible for funding?
The call for proposals is aimed at scientists and companies from all disciplines and sectors in Austria. Research institutes and companies are eligible to apply. Applications can be submitted by research institutes with companies. The consortium must consist of at least two partners (one from science and one from industry). A science transfer takes place.
What are the submission criteria?
The focus of the project costs (at least 80%) lies with the research institute or the researcher. Companies, as potential implementers of the results, participate financially and by providing material and labour services (maximum 20 %) in the project.
