The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation is now accepting online applications for the 2026 BBRF Distinguished Investigator Grant.


Objective

Support innovative research in neuroscience & psychiatry to better understand causes and develop treatments for brain & behavior disorders (e.g., addiction, ADHD, anxiety, autism, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, eating disorders, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, suicide prevention). Grants aim to foster resources, enable rapid initiation of innovative projects, and create unique opportunities.


Who can apply?

Established scientists with peer-reviewed, competitively funded research programs. 


Funding

Up to $100,000 for a 1-year project
