The aim of the mentoring programme for female early-stage researchers (muv) is to strategically the develop the academic careers of female doctoral candidates at the University of Vienna. The programme is aimed at female doctoral candidates of all academic disciplines and faculties. The kick-off meeting took place in the winter semester 2018/19. The three semester long programme starts in the following summer semester and gives the participants the possibility to plan their academic career strategically, to build individual mentoring relationships and (peer) networks across academic disciplines. For the first time, three different elements of women's advancement are combined with each other: mentoring, group coaching and training.

Employment at the University of Vienna is no prerequisite for joining the programme!
