to support a research stay in Sweden - application has to be done from Swedish side

The Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, in cooperation with the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, will support prominent researchers in Mathematics during 2014-2029. The funding amounts to a total of SEK 650 million.

The application has to be done from Swedish side - so please inform your Swedish colleagues, who can apply for your research stay in Sweden.

The program includes three parts:

  1. Nomination of guest professors
    Researchers at Swedish Universities including deans, directors and vice presidents can nominate guest researchers.

  2. Postdoctoral Scholarship Program in Mathematics for researchers from outside Sweden
    Senior researchers at Swedish Universities can apply for financing of a post-doc position to their research group.

  3. Postdoctoral Scholarship Program in Mathematics for researchers with a Swedish doctors degree
    After two years abroad there is an opportunity to receive financing for a research position up to two years at a Swedish University.
