Fundable projects
Funding will again be provided for research projects that actively involve school students and, if applicable, other Citizen Scientists in the research process.
Additional funding
With additional funding, special emphasis will be placed on the formation of science school focus, the involvement of peripheral or previously unreached or hardly reached schools in Austria, and the development of citizen science know-how through international networking.
Thematic focus
In the second call, a thematic focus is placed on the EU missions of the Horizon Europe research programme. These missions address some of the greatest challenges of our time and, through their solutions, help to strengthen confidence in science throughout Europe. For projects that contribute to the content of the five missions, a maximum of one third of the total funding is available.

Find/search for a research partner
To support scientific institutions in networking with potential partner schools and cooperation partners, the OeAD offers an online research partner exchange.
There, institutions can enter information about their project plans and the requirements for cooperation. The entry then appears on a digital bulletin board and can be used to make initial contact with interested research partners.
