How does the reminder of open (=unused) vacation days work?

Description of the process

projektSERVICE sends out reminders of open vacation days every mid-month.

  • You will receive this reminder if your contract ends this month and you have more than 0 open vacation days.
  • You will receive this reminder if your contract ends the next month and you have more than 10 open vacation days.
  • You will receive this reminder if your contract ends in two months and you have more than 20 open vacation days.

In principle, leave is to be used up in the year in which it was accrued (see also ➥Holdy leave [Univie-WIKI])

To avoid additional costs please consume all your vacation days before the end of your contract with University of Vienna and/or report missing entries.
