FEMAC – career development programme for female researchers in English

The Gender Equality and Diversity Unit of the University of Vienna is now accepting applications for FEMAC 2 – the Career Development Programme for Female Academics. FEMAC 2 is a three-semester coaching programme designed for a group of 12 female postdoctoral researchers of all disciplines at the University of Vienna. It refers to the increasing internationalization of research and science and is thus held in English. FEMAC is sponsored by the Vienna Science and Technology Fund.

TARGET GROUP

Application is open to female postdoctoral researchers and habilitation candidates of all disciplines of the University of Vienna (minimum duration of the current contract until January 2019), who pursue an academic career.

PROGRAMME DETAILS

FEMAC 2 is a three-semester coaching programme running from March 2018 until June 2019. It combines interdisciplinary group coaching and individual coaching sessions with specific soft skill workshops, which will be held by national and international experts. APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCESS

Applications should include:

  • Academic Curriculum Vitae (max. three pages + list of publications)
  • Completed application form

Applications are welcome until 31st October 2017 and are to be sent electronically to femac2@univie.ac.at. The selection of candidates is based on different criteria such as career stage, academic discipline and language skills.
